Club History

The current club was established in 1975, when Terrigal-Wamberal fielded teams in six of the eight 'Schoolboys' competitions: Under 8s, 9s, 10s, 12s, 13s and 14s. The senior division of the club began in 1976, with teams in First Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 18s.

Being established for 49 years means “The Sharkies” are a strong part of the Terrigal-Wamberal Community.

The Sharks are devoted to supporting our local juniors and develop them into senior players and even going onto the NRL as top line players.

The Terrigal-Wamberal Rugby League Football Club, players, coaching staff, committee and supporters possess the desire and the passion that is necessary for the club to continue to be successful.

By forming an alignment with the club as a sponsor in 2022 you will be part of the local community and benefit from our far reaching exposure that will be maximised through a close working association with the club and all of its stakeholders.
